Chris Buck grew up in Ontario and then made his way out west and then he spent his next years living in Western Australia. Through travel's around the globe his love for music grew stronger and upon his return to Canada he was involved in a life threatening car accident. Chris spent hours writing and playing his guitar through his years of recovery and formed the Chris Buck Band. The Chris Buck Band is known for their Reggae/Country style and their energetic stage presence. The band is made up of a group of guys in their mid 20's from around the globe: Chris Buck, Seamus O'Neill (BC), John Higgins (BC), Phil Bell (England. UK), and Jesse Griffith(New Brunswick). The boys have played every major country festival/ venue in British Columbia and many other parts of Canada within the last 2 years. After playing at Merritt Mountain Music Fest last summer (where they were called "one of the highlights of the festival," by Gabby's Country Cabaret) they've quickly become one of the busiest country bands on the west coast playing close to 150 shows this past year..They were also just nominated for the Ray MCauley Horizon Award at the BCCMA's for New Artist. Even with their busy schedule the boys have always made time to focus on their original music. Their first song they ever recorded "Okay" was played on over 38 stations across Canada and their follow- up, "Paradise," was broadcasted on 40 stations during it's first two weeks. They are currently back in studio with award winning producer Tom McKillip (Aaron Pritchett, One More girl) and working on their fresh new sound. The boy's will be releasing their NEW single/video early 2013 and then the album shortly after. They are also starting to make plans on visiting Nashville soon there after to share their music.
